Unslumber SoundCamp is a two part event that I curated at AKA Gallery with the support of holophon. Sound artists from across the Prairies were selected to take part in a sleepover in the AKA event space, complete with tents and sleeping bags, a fake fire, and lots of time and space for jamming, discussing the ideas and techniques behind their work, and getting to know one another. The next night, the artists performed at a concert in the same space.
